You’re still here. I mean…okay. Let’s see where this goes! (P.S. The reason I missed Sunday’s blog is because DJ has had a kidney stone and he’s trying to pass it. Do you know what moaning at all hours of the night does with an insomniac’s sleep? It’s great. LOL Now, on with the show!)

To Get to a Demon’s Heart continued…

Ivy and Tomoe ran down the driveway “Come on into the woods!” said Ivy pointing.

“Get back here!’ Her dad said chasing after them.

Ivy and Tomoe dashed into the woods. Twigs and ferns cut deep into both their flesh. Breathing deeply they head twigs breaking behind them. Tomoe tripped and fell “Ivy!” he yelled looking at her. (Yall. We are three weeks in and there is not ONE redeeming quality of Tomoe yet. LOL Leave him Ivy. LEAVE HIM.)

She turned around with her eyes widened in horror. Her dad was right behind Tomoe with the knife pointing up ready to strike. (What is he going to stab? The air? LOL) “Tomoe watch out!” she screamed.

Tomoe looked up and rolled out of the way. (AHAHAHAHAHA I pictured Mission Impossible…or Mega Piranha…AHAHA)) The knife grazed his arm. He jumped up, grabbed his arm, and ran. Blood trickled through his fingers.

“Come back here you little shit.” Yelled her father pulling his knife out of the dirt.

“Come on!” said Ivy pulling him as she ran.

They ran into a clearing where a shrine and old well was there. Tomoe looked at Ivy breathing hard. He said “Where do we go?”

Ivy looked around and spotted the well. She looked at Tomoe wiping the blood off his hands and holding his wound again. (Where is papa?) “Come on.” She said pulling him towards the well.

They walked up to it and looked down. “Ivy, that doesn’t look safe…” said Tomoe looking down.

The well went so deep that you couldn’t see the bottom. (Who, me?!)

“I know but we have no choice.” She said looking at him. Twigs snapping and the panting of her father got louder. “Tomoe come on we’ll come back as soon as he’s gone.” She said holding her hand out.

Tomoe takes her hand and they jump in. They expected to fall into shallow water but instead they landed with a soft thud on soft ground. Ivy and Tomoe huddled together and shivered. It was colder than usual. They waited for the sound of their father’s yells they heard nothing. Tomoe took a deep shaky breath. They stayed like that.

After awhile Ivy said “Tomoe we’ll stay here and in the morning we’ll climb out.” She said looking at Tomoe. (Solid plan…) His face was down on her shoulder, he didn’t reply “Tomoe?” she said quietly while moving his head. He was sleeping lightly. Ivy let out a relieved smile and put her head on top of his. She fell into a deep sleep.

*DREAM* (GUYS I SHIT YOU NOT. ITS WRITTEN JUST LIKE THIS AHAHA)

Piercing white eyes stared into Ivy’s. It was dark but those eyes stuck out. All she heard was “Welcome my queen.” That echoed through her mind.

*END DREAM*

(*Kanye shrug*)

Light peered over the top of the well right into Ivy’s eyes. Ivy groaned and rubbed her head. Tomoe looked up at her and yawned. The gash in his arm dried with blood but it still hurt. (*Facepalm*) Ivy stood up and stretched. She let out her hand for Tomoe to take. He took her hand while she helped him up. They dusted the mud off themselves. Ivy looked up “Woah how did you take us this long just to fall down here?” she said aloud.

“I don’t have a clue.” Said Tomoe rubbing his arm.

They climbed out of the well, Ivy got out first and stuck her hand over for Tomoe. She pulled him up and they looked at their surroundings. They were in a clearing with woods all around. “Ummm Ivy this doesn’t look right…at all.” Said Tomoe looking around.

“Yea well maybe we’ll get out come on it looks different. We’ve never seen it in the light.” Said Ivy walking towards the woods.

Tomoe followed but they didn’t know far away they were being watched.

*SOME PLACE* (*Insert crying emoji here*)

“Master, Master!” yelled a black bat flying through the shadows “We need”

“Silence!” boomed a powerful voice.

“But master…”

“I said shhh!” (Only the most devious of villains shush their minions X’D) said the figure “Look…” It said pointing to a screen. (SCREEN?!?! WHAT KIND OF HD…)

A girl and a boy walking through the woods. He put the speaker on… (This is the most advanced man in demonic Japan.)

“Ivy can we stop? We’ve been walking for a long time!” said the boy.

“Tomoe wait till we find water.” Said the girl.

As they were talking the figure put his hands on the girl’s picture “Ivy…so perfect…she will be mine.” Was what he murmured.

I think this is a good place to stop for now. I don’t think I’m ready to meet who this electronically advanced man is. Now, I will be upset if, when we get to him, his name turns out to be Bob. There’s Ivy and TOMOE (I still can’t get over this name) Tsukino. (Sailor mooooon). With father Peter. This guy’s name, if I remember correctly, is something to behold. Boy oh boy.
