Well you know, since I created and co-created these two characters, I am going to have a particular bias, but please, listen to it anyway.
Let’s start with Quinta shall we, a sexy, fiery little woman from the beautiful hills and oceanic views of Jamaica. I would have to say due to her backstory with her attitude and view of the world, she’s amazing. One of my absolute favorite female characters of the series. Now, that doesn’t take away from who we’ve introduced and who is yet to come, but Quinta holds a special place in my heart. She loves hard, she fights hard, and she looks damn good getting it done.
I can honestly said I feel much more of a connection to her when Maddie and I were writing part two. In part one, we were just introducing the characters, the storyline, and the area. So, everyone had to have a part and a play to keep the story going. Our focus was on the core group getting from point A to B more than anything. Now, in part II everyone is established, and we were able to pick up where 1 left off and continue. Now, the sex scenes between she and Dane………. excuse me I had to take a long, deep exhale. I want you all to know one thing. Maddie and I are a bunch of perverts. We have…some good, good stuff coming to you guys. But Dane and Quinta getting it on, keeps us talking for at least 2 days.
All in all, I can honestly say Quinta is one of our favorites. It’s about time we agree on something.
Now let’s move on to Addie. Sweet, bubbly, happy-go-lucky Addie. This woman is the complete OPPOSITE of me on the other side of the screen. Usually, I find characters that are too over the top to be…annoying. But, in a destitute, destroyed world as this, she’s a breath of fresh air. If the real world fell as this one did, and I was a survivor (I dare one of you ask what Maddie would do LOL, she’s ridiculous.), I would want someone like Addie around me to keep my spirits up. It’d be so easy to give up all hope and lose the fight within us or lose our minds from that sort of devastation. I could honestly look at Addie, a woman who was suffering even before the fall, and think to myself, “If she can still find the beauty and fun, then so can I.”
Realistically though, I think I’d become a crazy hermit who wouldn’t trust a soul.
Right now, my girls are just in the beginning stages. The story is really only getting started and I can’t get too much further into details. So, I’m thinking when parts three and four release, we should definitely do another version of this. I’m sure feelings will change, and we can go further into their characters. Just know, personally, I love these two immensely.
